Stallions

At present we do not have a standing stallion.  In April 2007 our beloved "Jack" passed on.

He is survived by his son "Jacks Black Cash" who will be available for guest mare service in 2010.

Born in 2006, Cash has the good looks, conformation, and temperament of his sire.  The apple obviously hasn't fallen far from the tree as the saying goes.

Cash is homozygous black and has been DNA tested by the genetics laboratory at UC Davis and is the descendant of 16 "American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame" stallions.

He is also 100% Foundation Quarter Horse.

As of this writing Cash is already 15.2 hands tall and 1000 lbs.  He's a kind and willing colt and has that "kind eye" that Jack was famous for.

He will most certainly be a fabulous stallion. We plan to stand him to our mares in 2009.

Good fortune has shined upon us and we have been blessed with a new arrival from out west.

His name is "Westphalia Raven".  Born in April 2007, "Raven" is homozygous black and has been DNA tested by the genetics laboratory at UC Davis.

He's been here at the ranch since October '07 and is an absolute joy to be with.

Raven is also 100% Foundation Quarter Horse and is the descendant of 16 "American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame" stallions.

Raven's first official task will be to breed to 8 of Jack's daughters that we are fortunate enough to have.  That won't happen until 2010.  We are very anxious to see the fantastic offspring that will be produced.

He spends his days with Cash playing as colts do.
